Friends have personality types associated with them which correspond to exclusive side events or unique event experiences we call “excursions”.
The excursions will occur at our major events, partner events, and non-partner events and can be decided upon by holders of the Friends NFTs (the DAO).

This personality type leans toward outdoor or natural excursions (hiking, camping, parks, gardens, aquariums, zoos). Humans have a higher chance of being Adventurers.
This personality type leans toward food-centric excursions (wining and dining with style).
This personality type leans toward cultural, artistic, and historical excursions (cultural/historic sites, museums). Aliens have a higher chance of being Historians.
This personality type leans toward social excursions (dance clubs, raves, festivals, concerts, comedy clubs). Automatons have a higher chance of being Party animals.
This personality type leans toward sporty excursions (athletic activities, both watching and playing).
The NonFun Friends (the "Friends") is a collection of 9006 avatars made of three species (Humans, Lysergians, and Automatons) each inhabiting the same post-apocalyptic, psychedelic world after a catastrophic event known as “The Trip”.

There are 6 unique Friends distributed to our founding team: Kekukekudroid, King Kunta, Gaslien, Melica the Colorful, Yamoribot, and Needles. These 6 protagonists have a few very unique traits that no other Friend will have, they are 1/1 and play important roles in the lore. Each of these friends will correspond to an NPC in our future Sandbox experiences: Cities Edge and NonFun City.
Eventually, every Friend holder will be able to name and contribute a backstory to their Friends, as well as prose to further the story. Down the line these stories will be solidified in a series of physical concept and lore books. We believe writing and sharing stories is a great way to bring our community closer together.
